This Resort is a Key West original and our personal favorite. Ten steps into the resort will find you breathing deeper, surrounded lush tropical gardens. The beautiful sand beach and adjacent topless section overlooks the turquoise water of Key West Harbor and the best shallow and deeper swimming area of any resort on Key West! We love this place because of it’s relaxed feel. This resort is more for adults although children are welcome. Located at the foot of Duval St... you are steps from everything, though it’s interesting that the resort is very peaceful, lacking the bustle of downtown. Located within the resort listed above, this is the “adults only” Harbor Front Spa... What a gem. You share the Harbor Front Resort’s beautiful sand beach, restaurants and bars. These two places combined are our favorite waterfront resorts, because of it’s intimacy and ambience... there isn’t even a close second on Key West! Call us to personally ask us about it. Now understand that no children are allowed in this portion of the resort. The Spa is a very tranquil place, if it’s pampering you want, you found it. This is the Grand Daddy of Key West’s Resorts complete with the breath-taking lobby and landscaped grounds. Originally built by Henry Flagler in 1921 (9 yrs after railroad completed). This is the largest private waterfront parcel of land in Key West, with an enormous beach & tidepool area. The Sun Beach Bar is a favorite even among locals. Full food, drink, chair & towel service available on the beach. Watersports department is large and offers everything. Built in 1985, This resort sits on the site of the old Sands Beach Club and the only natural sand beach on the island. The U shaped resort looks out over the Atlantic, has full watersports concession available, gym, massage, the works... a real playground. Very private jacuzzi, private balconeys off many of the rooms. The sand bar is actually on the base of the pier that you see pictured to the right. Upper Duval Street is one block away, the Southernmost Point is 2 blocks. 79 “junior” & one bedroom suites and 150 rooms, 8 of which are handicapped accessible. Relax and enjoy!

A fairly new addition to Key West’s collection of waterfront resorts; This is located just Southwest of Mallory Square on the K.W. Harbor. If you’re watching the sunset on Mallory Square, simply cross the bridge to the left and you’re there! Now you can watch the sunset, some of the better street performers and enjoy a cocktail too... now isn’t that better? The Resort & Marina has lots of meeting space and a great restaurant. The resort is 1.5 blocks from Sloppy Joes Bar. The marina usually hosts at least a couple of “super yachts” and a variety of charter operations. We absolutely love the pool / jacuzzi area of this resort! The property is laid out in a U formation, sheltering the interior and providing a festive resort ambience. The Resort is the only all-suite accommodations among Key West’s hotels. Just outside the front door is Key West’s main “Smathers Beach” where watersports concessions, volleyball courts, and a number of food vendors do their thing. Free shuttle to downtown Key West runs regularly and the front desk is open day and night. There are nearby tennis courts. The signature “Express Check-Out” is a real plus when it’s time to go. Local residents also know the restaurant has truly great food.

We recently toured the museum and property... WOW! They have the most fantastic collection of Presidential letters, documents & photographs and the largest collection of Hemingway letters known. This is without question, the most distinctive house in the Florida Keys! When you’re on the island, even if you don’t stay in one of the 13 beautiful guest rooms, you have to take the tour & get an all day guest pass to lounge by the cabana bar and zero entry pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The staff is very gracious and accommodating, the surroundings unique and nothing short of stunning. If you’re going to take the time to stay in Key West, make it this great mansion.
