One look at the unusual architecture tells you that this building has some serious history behind it. Today the Suites stand as an award winning historical landmark converted to spacious, luxurious 1 & 2 bdrm suite type condos filled with all the amenities of comfortable living. Half of them have balconies overlooking Duval Street. Originally built in 1917 as a club for Cuban cigar makers and their families, it quickly became the social center for Key West’s Cuban residents. Bring your boat; They have plenty of dock space next to the private club house where the TV series “Key West” was filmed. This is a really interesting property, much of it’s multi-faceted former uses are still intact.
